  • Western Storage

    Primary Emission Sources: LNG, Chemical Plants, other manufacturing facilities, combined with regional CO2 emissions in excess of 25 million tons / year.

    Primary CO2 Storage Sites: Castex Carbon has identified sinks previously operated by Castex Energy on private lands and in federal offshore Gulf of Mexico. Aggregate storage under evaluation is in excess of 50+ million metric tons.

  • Central Storage

    Phase I Emission Sources: Carbon Black and Gas Processing facilities with combined regional CO2 emissions of 1 million tons / year.

    Potential Phase II Emission Sources: Chemical Plants, Cogen, Gas Processing facilities with combined regional CO2 emissions of 40 million tons / year.

    Primary CO2 Storage Sites: Castex Carbon is in late-stage negotiations with the State of Louisiana to secure an operating agreement covering a storage sites previously operated by Castex Energy with storage capacity of approximately 20 million metric tons. Identified Phase II storage sites represent in excess of 100 million tons of capacity.

  • Eastern Storage

    Primary Emission Sources: LNG, Chemical Plants, other manufacturing facilities, combined with regional CO2 emissions in excess of 29 million tons / year.

    Phase I CO2 Storage Site: Castex Carbon controls 18,000 mineral acres in Southeast Louisiana which includes a storage site jointly owned with offset landowners providing 10 million metric tons of storage.

    Phase II EOR Upside and Additional Storage: Castex Carbon’s land position includes a CO2 flood EOR project and is adjacent to multiple additional depleted gas fields and saline aquifer storage sites.

Midstream: Castex Carbon is working exclusively with our midstream venture partner to acquire and repurpose existing pipelines adjacent to the identified emission sources.

Capture Technology and EPC: Castex Carbon, our midstream venture partner, and a reputable large cap company active in carbon capture technology, are collaborating to bring and end-to-end solution to select emitters in each of these project areas.
